What are Knobs?

Accu’s range of Finishing Hardware includes machine knobs such as Grip Knobs, Lobe Knobs, Knurled Knobs, Waist-Shaped Knobs and Mushroom Knobs.

All of these components are easy to install by hand or, in the case of Knurled Knobs, with one stroke of a hammer.

Machine Knobs can be used to provide the finishing touches to equipment. Some knobs, such as Grip, Lobe, Knurled and Stainless Steel Knobs have ridges or ‘lobes’ which offer the user a firmer grip to make adjusting equipment quicker and easier.

Stainless Steel Knobs, also available as Waist Shaped Knobs, can be an ideal choice for applications in sterile environments, such as the food or medical industries, where higher hygiene standards are essential.

Other knobs, such as Waist Shaped Knobs and Mushroom Knobs, are ideal for use with access panels and lids where they allow the assembly to open and close in a safe and controlled way.
