What are Dome Rivets?

Accu’s range of Dome Rivets are installed using a tool such as a Rivet Gun. They are also commonly known as Blind Rivets owing to the installer only needing access to the front of the application.

Along with standard Blind Rivets, Accu can supply a range of Dome Rivets all with their own unique features.

Sealed Dome Rivets.

The unique feature of a Sealed Rivet is its locking mandrel (central pin) which creates a vibration-proof watertight seal when installed.

Peel Blind Rivets.

This type of specialist Dome Rivet features a body designed to peel into a claw shape during setting, spreading the clamping force between the four segments.

Multigrip Blind Rivets.

Offering a wider grip range than standard Blind Rivets, Multigrip Rivets are particularly helpful in irregular holes.

Lock Structural Blind Rivets.

Structural Rivets are specifically designed for heavy duty applications, where high shear and tensile strength is required.
