What are Protection Plugs ?

Accu has an extensive range of Pipe Plugs which are designed for multiple applications. The versions with o-rings provide a watertight seal and the threaded plugs protect against dirt and dust. There are also many types of paint masking caps that have a pull tab for a quick and easy removal after painting. 

Barrel Plugs

Made from LDPE, these general purpose Barrel Plugs are often used to protect pipes against moisture, dirt and corrosion. They are sometimes used to protect products against damage and abrasion during transport. 

Moss Protection Plugs

Sometimes known as push fit plugs and they are made from either PVC or green vinyl. The green vinyl plugs are resistant to oils and greases. 

Parallel Protection Plugs 

These versatile plastic caps protect against dirt, moisture and corrosion. They can also be used to protect products from damage during transport because they are quick to fit and remove by hand. 

Tear Tab Parallel Plugs

Another type of general purpose plastic cover for protecting pipes against dirt, moisture, corrosion and abrasion. They are very quick to remove using the ergonomic pull tabs, making them ideal for temporary applications such as masking or transit protection.
