What are Shakeproof KEP Nuts?

Shakeproof KEP Nuts (Sometimes called KEPS Nuts) feature an attached, free-spinning washer, which allows them to resist loosening under vibration. The name of this product originates from the 'kep' in the middle of the word 'Shakeproof'.
