What is a DIN standard?

DIN standards originate from the German organisation Deutsches Institut für Normung. They can be found in almost every industry worldwide due to the worldwide spread of German products.

One of the earliest and most famous examples of DIN standardisation would be A-series paper sizes (i.e A4), which are defined by DIN 476.

If you know the DIN standard of the component you need, you can enter this in our search bar to filter results which either match or are equivalent to the specification you need.

You can find more information on the national and international standards of the components we supply in our manufacturing standards article.
