Accu’s Metric Security Torx Button Head Screws are a variant of our standard Torx Button Head Screw range. The Security Torx Drive, also known as a Star Security Drive, features a pin in the centre of the drive, which prevents a regular Torx driver from being used. This type of drive is designed to prevent tampering and increase security, whilst benefiting from the increased resistance to cam-out, which Torx screws are popular for.
This type of Button Screw also features a rounded, low profile head which is aesthetically pleasing and free of sharp edges.
These screws can be installed using Accu’s ranges of Security Torx Drive Bits and Security Torx Key Wrenches and are also compatible with our iFixit Driver Bit Sets and Screwdriver Kits.
Metric Security Torx Screw Materials
Accu’s Metric Tamper-proof Torx Button Screws are available in A2 Stainless Steel and can also be purchased with a Chemical Black finish and with a pre-applied thread locking patch for increased resistance to loosening.
Metric Security Button Screw Sizes
Our range of Security Torx Button Screws are produced to the ISO 7380 manufacturing standard and are available in Metric sizes M3 to M10, and lengths from 6mm up to 100mm as standard.
Imperial Security Torx Button Screws
Imperial Security Button Head Screws are also available in thread sizes of between No. 4 and 3/8 inch, and lengths from ¼ inch up to 2 inch.
