What are Kinmar® Removable Nuts?

The patented Kinmar® Removable Nut is a 2-way Security Nut by Hafren Security Fasteners. Designed to be a cost effective and aesthetically pleasing high security component, this anti tamper nut can be used with any M8 bolt, threaded stud, set screw or machine screw.

Common applications for Kinmar Removable Nuts include barrier and entry security fixtures within car parks, intended to prevent loss of revenue, pilferage and to safeguard against theft.

This patented anti-theft nut is uniquely designed to require a matching Kinmar Removable Driver Socket for installation and, if necessary, removal. As this security nut is designed to provide an enhanced level of protection from theft or vandalism, the removal tool has restricted availability. Please enquire with our team to request a quote.

Materials.

Kinmar® Removable Nuts are stocked in A2 Stainless Steel and Case Hardened Steel, available with either a Zinc Plated (Cr3) or a Geomet® 500B finish. Stainless Steel options can be purchased with our specialist PX-3 Matte Black coating.
