This Sealing Screw is a uniquely engineered variant of our standard Imperial Security Socket Button Screws, pre-fitted with a resilient rubber O-Ring which is designed to prevent internal and external leaks of hazardous substances within machinery and industry devices.

Manufactured to Military Specifications by USA based company ZAGO, this Button Head Sealing Screw is fitted with a Security Socket Drive, for increased tamper resistance, and a low profile dome shape head. This head design is a popular choice for applications requiring a smooth finish, leaving no pointed or sharp edges.

Achieving optimal performance with these Self Seal Screws requires a clearance hole to be formed in the surface of the mating panel. During installation, the O-Ring squeezes and reshapes itself, creating a complete hermetic seal. As opposed to using a standard screw and separate O-Ring, Self Sealing Screws ensure metal-to-metal contact between the head of the screw and the mating surface, prolonging the life and effectiveness of the captive O Ring.
