What are Nylon Locking Acorn Nuts?
Nylon Locking Acorn Nuts provide all the aesthetic benefits of conventional Domed Nuts (also called Acorn Nuts or Crowned Hex Nuts), with the addition of a nylon locking insert. The domed top of this component acts as a protective barrier, and prevents contact with other components, in addition to giving fasteners a well-finished appearance.
Materials
All of Accu's Nylon Locking Acorn Nuts are manufactured from 18-8 / 304 Stainless Steel, and comply with DIN Standard 986. Additional materials and finishes can also be made available on request.
Metric Nylon Locking Nuts
Nylon Locking Acorn Nuts are available in thread sizes of M4 to M16, with external widths between 7.00mm and 24.00mm, and dome lengths of up to 20.00mm.
