Tab Washers.

What are Tab Washers?

Tab Washers are a type of lock washer designed to fit around nuts and bolts and are ideal for use in heavy-duty applications. 

Accu’s range of Tab Washers includes Two Tab, Long Tab and Single External Tab Washers.

Acting as a mechanical locking solution, the metal Tab Washers act as a physical barrier to secure bolted joints.

To install, insert the Tab Washer between the bolt head or the nut and the surface then proceed to tighten. 

As an extra precaution, the Two Tab and Long Tab Washers include a longer tab which can be bent to prevent rotation, such as that caused by vibration, and to provide a more permanent fastening. As a result, these components are not suitable for reuse. 

Materials

Washers are manufactured from A2 and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, with Chemical Blackening available.
