What are Delta Protekt® Security Torx Countersunk Self Drilling Screws?

Accu’s Delta Protekt® Pin Torx Countersunk Self Drilling Screws feature a specialised 6-Lobe Pin drive, also known commonly as a Torx Security drive, which combines the enhanced security of a Torx Pin with the increased torque transmission of this star shaped drive. This type of security fastener is referred to as a 2-Way Removable Screw.

The Countersunk Head of this Torx Security Tek Screw makes it an ideal choice for applications where the head of the screw needs to sit flush with the surface material. The self-drilling tip of this screw is designed to create a hole and tap its own thread, without the need for a pre-drilled hole.

Security Torx Countersunk Head Self Drilling Screws in this range are manufactured from Case Hardened Steel with a Delta Protekt® finish.

Sizes.

Thread sizes available in this range are No. 8 (4.2mm), No. 10 (4.8mm) and No.12 (5.5mm). Thread lengths start from ½”(13mm) going up to 2” (50mm).
