Castle Nuts feature a castellated top, which allows them to be used in unison with a horizontal locking pin. The pin is inserted between the slots on the nut, through a hole in the screw, to create a locked anti-vibration fastening.

Materials

Components within this range are manufactured from A2 and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, with specialist PX-3 Chemical Black Coatings available on request.

Metric Castle Nuts

Castle Nuts are manufactured according to the DIN standard 935, and are available in diameters of between M5 and M36. Widths range from 8.00mm to 55.00mm (A/F), and lengths are available from 6.00mm up to 38.00mm.
