Unlike ordinary nuts, which lack adequate sealing capability to prevent contaminants and toxins from entering the environment, Hexagon Sealing Nuts are designed to maintain the integrity of enclosures with a 360° seal.

Zago Seal Nuts feature Military Standard O Ring technology and are capable of withstanding extreme temperature conditions and atmospheres. Even the most sensitive equipment is protected from hazardous substances thanks to these fasteners forming a leak-proof, air-tight seal.

Hexagon Sealing Nuts are reusable and compatible with all surface types. They are supplied ready to use, with no assembly required. This fastener is fitted with a captive rubber O Ring providing a more user friendly, cost effective and better seal than using a conventional Hexagon Nut with a separate O Ring.

Accu also lists ZAGO Hexagon Sealing Bolts in our standard range, along with Serrated Flanged Sealing Nuts, suitable for applications requiring increased anti-vibration properties.

Materials

Accu’s range of Hex Sealing Nuts are manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel, otherwise known as A2 Stainless Steel.

O Ring materials available include Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton (Fluorocarbon) as standard. For alternative Nut and O Ring materials, please reach out to us.
