Sealed Blind Rivets, similar to standard Dome Rivets in design and function, are a type of unthreaded fastener typically used to permanently join 2 or more panels together.

The unique feature of a Sealed Rivet is that it features a locking mandrel (central pin) which creates a vibration-proof watertight seal when installed, eliminating the risk of leakage of gases or liquids.

Sealed Dome Rivets only require access to one side of a structure or part during installation, making them suitable for ‘blind’ installation. This type of Rivet is often selected for applications where a pressure tight seal is required, for example in electronics enclosures or white goods where the prevention of moisture leakage is essential.

Materials

Sealed Dome Rivets are sold by Accu in Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel, with natural, zinc passivated and matte black finishes available depending on material choice.
