What are Rotary Accessories?

Rotary Accessories are used as fastening or locking accessories for a moving shaft.

Within Accu’s range of Rotary Accessories are Parallel Keys and Adjusting Rings.

Parallel Keys are ideal for fastening Accu’s Pulley and Gear ranges to rotating shafts. As a cost effective solution, they are sometimes used as a failsafe component, designed to be the first component to break to protect other, more critical, components. 

To install a Parallel Key, a keyway is required. 

Often used to secure Rotary Bearings and other shaft-mounted components, Adjusting Rings are designed to be tightened around a shaft to prevent axial movement. 

All Adjusting Rings in this range are supplied with a DIN 914 Cone Point Set Screw for installation.
