Push-On Washers are commonly used to create a permanent hold within an assembly, for example acting as a Retaining Washer to secure a screw onto a panel.

Push-On Washers create a cost effective locking solution, with the washer preventing the screw from coming loose and thereby reducing the risk of fastener loss on production and assembly lines.

A more premium retaining solution can be found in Accu's specialist range of Washers For Captive Screws.

For applications where retaining fasteners are required to be fitted to equipment such as safety guards, Push-On Washers can be used to achieve compliance with EU machine Directive 2006/42/EC.

This type of washer is intended to be a permanent fastening, and is therefore not suitable for re-use.

Materials

Accu’s Push-On Washers are manufactured from austempered carbon steel, with a bright zinc plated finish to provide a barrier against corrosion and are also available in a black phosphate and oil finish.
