What are Metric Slotted Head Cup Point Set / Grub Screws?

Metric Slotted Head Cup Point Set Screws (also called Grub Screws) are ideal for applications which require a screw to have no protruding head. These components feature a cup point, which will not penetrate a surface in the same way as a sharp cone point. Their unique cup point tip allows for the set screw to maintain the best possible clamping in comparison to the other available set screws on the market. Slotted drives are designed for use alongside our Slotted Drive Bits and Slotted Screwdrivers ranges.

Materials

These components can be manufactured in a number of materials, including A2 and A4 Stainless Steel, Brass, Phosphor Bronze and PEEK. Additional finishes and features are also available, including Chemical Matte Black Coatings and Thread Locking Patches.

Metric Slotted Head Cup Point Set Screws are available in diameters ranging from M2.5 to M12, and lengths of between 2mm and 40mm. Additional sizes can also be manufactured on request.
