What are Hexagonal Nuts?

A Hexagon Nut is designed to be installed to the end of a Hexagon Bolt or other Precision Screw, and generally holds a fastener in place when used alongside an unthreaded hole.

Accu’s Hex Nuts range includes a wide variety of standard and specialist components with a range of characteristics. Specialist features include flanges, domes, and nylon locking inserts. The high precision machining of our components allows a general tolerance of ±0.13mm to be achieved - making them ideal for high accuracy applications.

Materials

Hex Nuts can be manufactured from a range of materials, including A2 and A4 (Marine Grade) Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Phosphor Bronze and PEEK.

Metric Hex Nuts

The Hex Nuts range includes components in sizes from M1 to M56. The Metric Hex Nuts range also includes a number of specialist metric components, including Castle Nuts, Weld Nuts, and left-hand threads.

Imperial Hex Nuts

Hex Nuts are also available in imperial sizes from No. 0 up to 2 inch, and are generally manufactured in both UNF and UNC variants. Shakeproof KEP Nuts are type of component from our Custom Manufacture Service.
