What are Spherical Seating Hex Nuts?

Spherical Seating Nuts feature a domed face, which allows the nut to be 'seated' within a Spherical Seat Washer. These components are used when locking components against a non-parallel surface. The domed shape of Spherical Seating Nuts gives them certain self-centralising properties when used alongside Spherical Seat Washers, which means that they can also be used in applications requiring frequent clamping and unclamping without causing misalignment.

Spherical Seating Nuts are manufactured from A2 and A4 Stainless Steel as standard, with Chemical Matte Black Coatings available.

These components are manufactured in metric thread sizes of between M6 and M36, with nut lengths ranging from 9mm up to 54mm.
