What are Tri Head Security Machine Screws?

A specialised type of 2 way security fixing by Hafren Security Fasteners, Tri Head Security Screws are typically used as a vandalism deterrent. They feature a tall, triangular shaped head, which makes this security fastener commonly favoured for applications where a channel or recess is present. The underside of the screw head is flat and similar in design to flange screws, which feature an integrated washer.

Designed to be quick and easy to install, these Security Screws feature an M8 machine screw thread. To fasten or remove this type of anti-theft screw, you will need the matching TRI8 drive tool, which can be purchased from our M8 Tri-Head Key Wrench range.

Materials.

Accu’s range of Tri Head Security Screws are manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel, to a natural finish as standard. This screw is also available with a Chemical Matte Black finish or can be supplied with a pre-applied AccuLock thread locking patch.

Our Tri Head Screws feature a metric M8 thread size, with thread lengths of 20mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm all available.
