What are Rivets?

Accu’s various types of Rivets include Pop Rivets (also known as Blind Rivets or Dome Rivets) and Solid Rivets.

Whilst Pop Rivets are hollow and feature a central mandrel for easy installation from just one side, Solid Rivets are designed so that the tail end will deform during installation into a pre-drilled hole, locking in place to create a permanent, secure fixing.

Materials

Accu’s Rivets are available in a range of materials including Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Copper. Plastic Rivets are also available and are designed for various lightweight fastening applications.
