Cap Head Captive Screws are one of the most commonly used Captive Screws in the Accu Precision Captive Screw range. Cap Head Captive Screws are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head, which is used to retain a Captive Washer. These components are designed to be self-retaining after installation, preventing screws from being lost or misplaced. Captive Screws are frequently used for safety reasons, and are now required by EU law on equipment such as safety guards.
