Accu Makes The Kirklees Top 100 SMEs Shortlist
We are delighted to share that Accu have been named in the Official Kirklees Top 100 SME List for 2023/24.
The Kirklees Top 100 is an annual compilation that spotlights the most successful and influential companies in the region, highlighting their profound impact on the local economy. It is strategically designed to enhance the visibility of businesses in Kirklees, positioning the area as an attractive hub for investment and sustained growth.
The Kirklees Top 100 is a collaboration between the esteemed partners: Huddersfield University, Kirklees Council, the Huddersfield Examiner, and the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre. The initiative serves as a celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable progress.
By meticulously evaluating key metrics such as turnover, profit and growth, each year the Top 100 list is assembled by Huddersfield Business School. This esteemed compilation atcs as a testament to businesses that have not only showcased outstanding performance but have also demonstrated excellence in delivering exceptional products and services, coupled with an unwavering commitment to their valued customers.
The list also has a brochure format, including a dedicated Careers edition that is widely distributed to schools and colleges to inspire and inform young individuals about career opportunities for the future.
To spotlight more admirable businesses in the region, the Kirklees Top 100 introduced their SME edition earlier this year, which Accu are honoured to be featured in.
In fact, our Managing Director (UK), Alastair Morris, sat on the panel representing the Top 100 SMEs at the official launch of the Kirklees Top 100 list at the beginning of October.
Kirklees Top 100 SMEs is a category sitting within the larger Kirklees Top 100 List that specifically focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kirklees. These SMEs are recognised for their exceptional growth, innovation, and contributions to the local community.
SMEs play a vital role in driving economic growth, creating job opportunities, and fostering brilliant new ideas. By recognising the top SMEs in the Kirklees region, the initiative aims to showcase their achievements and inspire others in the business community.
Being named within the Kirklees Top 100 SMEs List is an honour for Accu. It not only provides us with exciting new avenues for growth and collaboration, but also acknowledges our commitment to innovation within the local area.
Our upcoming move to our new HQ - the former Brooke Motors site in Brockholes - and our subsequent revival of the Brockholes Carnival are testament to this.
