What are Torx Raised Countersunk Chipboard Screws?
Fitted with the popular Torx (Star) Drive, this Raised Countersunk Chipboard Screw features a coarse thread designed to be installed into synthetic woods such as particleboard (chipboard). The Raised Cap of the Countersunk head sits slightly rounded above the material surface, giving an aesthetically pleasing appearance whilst not protruding as prominently as a Button or Round Head Screw.
This range is compatible with Accu’s Torx Driver Bits, with a benefit of this drive type including increased resistance to cam-out during installation.
Available in both partial and fully threaded variants, this range of Raised Countersunk Chipboard Screws can be used in a number of applications with soft woods. They are commonly used for a decorative finish in woodworking, for producing furniture and countertops.
For a standard Countersunk head, designed to sit completely flush with the surface of the material, please see our range of Torx Countersunk Chipboard Screws.
Materials.
Torx Raised Countersunk Chipboard Screw are manufactured from either A2 Stainless Steel or Marine Grade Stainless Steel (316). Both A2 and A4 Stainless Steel variants can be supplied with a chemical black finish.
