What are Panel Edge Grommet Nuts?
Panel Edge Grommet Nuts are a type of panel edge clip that is used for mounting panels. These edge panel clips are used to fasten panels and can be used as an alternative to a clinch fastener and are often used as an alternative to threaded inserts. The U shape opening allows the user to quickly slide the nut onto sheet material. They can be used to secure cloth, leather, fabric, soft and rigid plastic or fibreboard panels to metal sheets.
The panel edge grommet nut is secured in position with a screw on one side while the other side is flat to provide a neat finish. These polyamide fasteners are typically used in motor vehicles, furniture, seating and toys.
