What are Metric Acorn Nuts?
Metric Acorn Nuts (also known as Acorn Nuts or Crowned Hex Nuts) feature a domed top which conceals the threads. The dome of this component acts as a protective barrier, preventing unwanted contact with other components and giving fastenings a well-finished appearance.

These Nuts are available in A2 stainless steel and Marine Grade A4 316 Stainless Steel, electrically insulated Nylon 66, and high-strength Titanium.
Metric Acorn Nuts
Acorn Nuts are available to suit thread sizes ranging from M3 up to M36.
Imperial Acorn Nuts
Imperial Acorn Nuts are available in both UNF and UNC Thread Pitches, and are suitable for use with thread sizes of between No.8 and 3/4 inch.
