What are Metric Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws?

Metric Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws are engineered with a groove on the underside of the screw head. Combined with the captive rubber O-Ring, this fastener forms a permanent hermetic seal which prevents internal and external leakages.

Produced in the USA to Military Specifications, this type of Self Sealing Screw is also commonly referred to as an O Ring Screw. Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws are designed to sit flush with the surface of the mating component and help to fortify and protect machinery from harmful contaminants, even operating within extreme temperature conditions and pressures.

These fasteners are manufactured and pressure tested to 1500 psi to ensure suitability across a wide range of industrial applications, including Marine, Defence and Electronics.

This Sealing Screw can be installed using Accu’s range of Phillips Drive Bits or with the correct size Phillips Screwdriver.

Materials

This range of Phillips Countersunk Sealing Screws are made from 304 Stainless Steel, otherwise known as A2 Stainless Steel.
