What are Imperial Torx Pan Head Sealing Screws?

Featuring a Pan head fitted with a rubber O-Ring, this specialist range of Imperial Torx Self Seal Screws are designed to provide an air-tight 360° seal when installed. Fitted with the popular Torx Drive (6 Lobe), this self sealing screw benefits from increased cam-out resistance and higher torque transmission during installation.

Uniquely engineered to feature a groove on the underside of the screw head, sealing screws are pre-fitted with a captive O-Ring which ensures metal-to-metal contact with the housing material and provides a hermetic seal when fastened.

Designed to maintain optimum performance in fasteners within machinery, the hermetic seal provided by these specialised screws prevents fluid and gas leakage, whilst also protecting against contaminants, even within harsh environments.

Manufactured by ZAGO to meet Military Spec, these high-tech sealing screws can be supplied by Accu in a range of head styles, with various drive types available to suit a wide range of industry applications. The FDA approved O-Rings pre-installed to these sealing screws are manufactured in Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton as standard, with alternative materials available on request.

Materials

As standard, Imperial Torx Pan Sealing Screws are available from Accu in A2 Stainless Steel. O Ring Material options for this Imperial range include Buna, Fluorosilicone and Viton (Fluorocarbon). For increased resistance to vibrations, these stainless steel screws can be supplied with our pre-applied specialist thread locking patch.

Manufactured to ANSI B18.6.3, Accu’s range of Imperial Sealing Torx Pan Head Screws are available in thread diameters No. 2 to ¼”, with lengths ranging from 3/16” to 1”.
