Clutch Head Security Countersunk Self Tapping Screws

What are Clutch Head Security Countersunk Self Tapping Screws?

Designed to be a permanent fixing, our range of Clutch Head Security Countersunk Self Tapping Screws are a type of 1-Way Security Screw. Fitted with a specialised variant of a Slotted Drive, Clutch Head Screws are simple to install using only a standard Slotted (Flat Head) Screwdriver. However, this type of countersunk security screw can only be operated in a clockwise motion as a result of the ridged design of its security drive, making it a high security fixing.

Featuring a Countersunk Head, this Security Self Tapping Screw is designed to be installed into a pre-drilled pilot hole, tapping its own thread as it is installed, and sit flush with the surface of the mating object. Clutch Round Head Security Self Tapping Screws, fitted with a dome shaped head are also listed in our standard range for applications where a button shape is preferred.

A Zinc Plated Steel variant of this component, suitable for use specifically in wood, is available in our range of Clutch Head Security Countersunk Wood Screws.
