What are Torx Self Tapping Countersunk Screws?

Hexalobular (also known as Torx or 6lobe) Self Tapping Countersunk Screws are designed to tap their own threads when inserted into pre-drilled pilot holes. Products within this range are fitted with a countersunk head, which allows the the screw to sit flush with the target housing. These components also feature a Hexalobular Drive, which is designed to resist cam-out, and is compatible with AccuScrews’ range of Hexalobular Drive Bits.

Materials

These components are available in an array of specialist materials, including A2 and A4 Stainless Steel. Additional finishes such as Chemical Blackening can be applied to Stainless Steel components on request.

Imperial Torx Self Tapping Countersunk Screws

These components are manufactured according to DIN 7982C, and are available in thread sizes of between No. 2 and No. 14, and lengths of between ¼ inch and 3 inch.
