What are Torx Button Head Captive Screws?

Torx Button Head Captive Screws are designed with an unthreaded shank underneath the head. This section is designed to accommodate a specialised Captive Washer, which locks in place during installation to create a self-retaining fastener. The button head of these components makes them aesthetically pleasing, with the added benefit of being free from sharp or pointed edges.
