What are Peel Blind Rivets?

Peel Blind Rivets, are a specialist type of Dome Rivet, typically used to permanently fix 2 or more soft materials such as plastic or sheet metal panels together. 

Fitted with a mandrel designed to peel the rivet body into a claw-like shape during installation, the four split ‘legs’ create a locking head with a large blindside bearing surface.

This claw shape clamps the material tightly, spreading the load over a wide diameter to significantly reduce the risk of the rivet snapping or breaking through the soft material.

As with other Dome Rivets in Accu’s range, Peel Rivets only require access to one side of the assembly, making them suitable for ‘blind’ installation.
